Best tools for creating videos

Video is the most performing type content for digital marketing, many companies are shifting and investing to create videos for their brand and PR. Some invest on computers, hire video editors, motion graphic artist, video and sound recording equipment.

The most popular professional softwares are:

  • Adobe premiere pro
  • Adobe after effects
  • Adobe auditions
  • Final cut pro
  • Davinci resolve

But not everyone have that kind of budget or require high-end videos. We will go through the ways to create videos on a budget.

I will start with the most available one, that perhaps many people do not know about. It is the MS PowerPoint, if you are good with the animations and transitions in PowerPoint then you can have a decent video.

the Pros: it is widely accessible, user friendly, have animations presets

The cons: very basic, not suited for all kinds of videos

A slightly better option is Canva has become a powerhouse for creating social media design. They had only static design before but now with the demand for videos. they have added options like Gifs, pictures with animated stickers and video templates. They have free version and a paid version with more options.

Crello is another option which is quite similar to Canva, they also have editable video templates. But they perhaps are targeting a different niche in marketing from Canva.

Davinci Resolve is more of a professional tool, it has become very popular among the people who were not fan of the new Adobe subscription model. It also have a free version and a paid version. Davinci’s main attraction is its tool for color correction.

There are many online tools emerging with customizable template like:

  • Animaker
  • Powtoon
  • Moovely
  • Adobe spark

These all are for specific type of videos, we will get in more details with types of videos and the most suited app for each on another post.

  1. Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re working with? I’m going to start my own blog soon but I’m having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something unique. P.S Apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

  2. Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a completely different topic but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Great choice of colors!

  3. Everyone loves what you guys are usually up too. This sort of clever work and exposure! Keep up the awesome works guys I’ve incorporated you guys to my blogroll.

  4. I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems? A number of my blog readers have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?

  5. Hmm is anyone else experiencing problems with the images on this blog loading? I’m trying to determine if its a problem on my end or if it’s the blog. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  6. Hi! This is kind of off topic but I need some help from an established blog. Is it hard to set up your own blog? I’m not very techincal but I can figure things out pretty fast. I’m thinking about creating my own but I’m not sure where to start. Do you have any tips or suggestions? Cheers

  7. Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You definitely know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your site when you could be giving us something informative to read?
